Update on mail outs and electric meters.

All clients eligible to take possession in blocks 13-21 should have now received their individual e mail giving the details they require for the possession process. If you haven't received this please contact fiona@cyprus-invest.com urgently to resend the e mail. For all clients that have not acknowledged receipt please do so urgently. If we have not received this we will need to post your e mail to you which is obviously quite time consuming and we would rather concentrate on dealing with the possession request e mails.

We are currently mailing out the final balances and would hope to complete this by the end of this week. Again, please acknowledge receipt at your earliest convenience.

The Management Company expect to start sending information on the services they can offer in the next two weeks. As part of you possession process you will also meet with them and have the chance to discuss your individual requirements at that time.

We have received the following information from the Electric office in Iskele, however, please use these figures for indication purposes only, as they may well change prior to you ordering your meter. All payments are made to the electricity company.

Deposit for the electric meter 469TL payable in Turkish lira cash or by credit card (2.5% admin fee) or local TRNC cheque. 
Cost for the electric meter including fitting 205TL payable in £stg or TL cash, credit card (2.5% admin fee) or local TRNC cheque.
They are currently estimating 3 days for connection, however, this may well change depending on how busy they are and if they decide to put a few orders together to save on trips.

You can apply for the meter in person at the electric office in Iskele.
Or if you prefer you can arrange with the management company to do this and complete a power of attorney for then in the presence of the local notary located in Mehmetcik, near Bafra.  If you are not coming over you can nominate a representative or again request that the management company do this for you. You will need a power of attorney witnessed by the TRNC embassy in your country of residence.  Please contact us for further instructions on completing a power of attorney if you are not coming to the TRNC.
