A new completion date has been set for the project to deliver water to the TRNC from Turkey. The tap will be turned on at 10.59am on July 20th 2015, the anniversary of Turkey's intervention.
24.6km of the total 80km pipeline has been laid, as of the 24th January 2015, some 30.8%, and gates are to be opened iin Turkey on Monday to allow water to flood in to the especially constructed Alakopru reservoir that will feed the pipe.
