Foreigners travelling to Turkey will no longer be able to get a visa on arrival, under a new regulation from Ankara.
UK and EU passport holders, and other nationalities previously entitled to obtain a visa upon entry, will be required to get an electronic visa before their journey when the e-visa rule comes into force on April 10 2014.
The visa issuing website currently indicates a cost of $20 to a Briton for a 6 month visa allowing multiple stays of up to 90 days.
