Please note that we have 'Kurban Bayram' or Eid el - Adha (the feast of sacrifice) from tomorrow (15th October 2013) through to Friday inclusive 18th October. During this celebration in the Islamic calendar, sheep are sacrificed to Allah and the meat distributed to poor families or those with very little money. This is very similar to the Christian tradition of 'Harvest Supper'.
Please note that all government buildings, banks, and public buildings such as post offices etc will be closed until next Monday (21st October).
