Over the last 6-7 weeks the workers at Thalassa have increased in numbers to around 60 as of yesterday. We understand from Eurocoast that they will continue to increase daily to between 80 and 100.
The private pools are really taking shape with the majority tiled in blocks 21 down to 16. The pump rooms and supporting infrastructure are also being worked on. They are currently giving us a completion date of January/February to complete them all.
The main bulk of the workers are now spread over blocks 16-13 working on the internal areas of the specific apartments including ceramics, doors and kitchens. Additionally they are working on the roof terraces, communal hallways and stairwells.
The lift contractors have met with our engineers and will soon have their team back on site with a completion date for these in January/February.
The levelling of the ground is also continuing which will enable us to start the landscaping early next year ready for completion.
Our revised contracts for relocations and upgrades are continuing, which along with the obtaining of additional items for the apartments is a huge job and using the man power of three people on a daily basis.
All the additional item requests are now been rechecked to the apartments to confirm what has and hasn’t been done following the suspension period. All the orders to date have also been passed to the contractors for action and they are placing the orders for the electrical items with their suppliers.
